About Dr. Shahid Latif
Dr. Latif has taken a keen interest in serving on various committees at several hospitals during his years helping patients overcome cancer, including Chairman of Continuing Medical Education, Cancer Care, Radiation Safety and Tumor Boards. He has engaged in regular speaking events regarding cancer detection, prevention and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Areas of expertise include Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), 3D Conformal Technique, Electron Therapy, High Dose Brachytherapy (HDR), Prostate Seed Implant and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT).
Dr. Latif is a family man. His two beautiful granddaughters are his pride and joy. Dr. Latif and his wife enjoy learning about other cultures by traveling to different geographical areas and spending time where real people live. He also enjoys reading and gardening in his spare time.
