I think of every patient as if he or she is a member of my family.”

Dr. Alqaisi is very family oriented. He enjoys the companionship of his grandkids and taking a stroll on the beach.

Education

MD: University of Baghdad
Residency: Veterans Administration Medical Center, Martinez, CA
After his residency, Dr. Alqaisi was the assistant professor of Radiation Oncology at the East Carolina University School of Medicine. He has served as the Chief of Staff of St. Mary’s Hospital in Victorville and is currently the Chairman of both the Tumor Board and the Cancer Committee at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Alqaisi is the Medical Director of the San Bernardino and Mojave Cancer Centers. His areas of expertise include Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) 3D Conformal Technique, Electron Therapy, High Dose Brachytherapy (HDR) and Interstitial Brachytherapy Dr. Alqaisi is a prolific writer and medical leader. He has publications in not only Radiation Oncology but also in Cardiothoracic Surgery and other surgical techniques.
